Cookies and local browser storage are small technical records. Some keep the website secure; others remember useful choices. We separate them so you stay in control.
The four categories
Current storage inventory
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
globaltest-consent-v1 |
Necessary · local storage | Records your category choices and policy version. | 180 days |
globaltest-session |
Necessary · cookie | Session continuity and request security, including form protection. | 120 minutes |
globaltest-language |
Functional · local storage | Remembers the interface language. | Until removed or consent is withdrawn |
profiles-ac-client-config |
Functional · local storage | Keeps a configurator draft on your own device. It may include details you entered. | Until removed or consent is withdrawn |
The functional records above are written only after you allow the Functional category. Withdrawing that choice removes them from this browser. The contact-consent checkbox in a saved configurator draft is never restored as pre-accepted.
How your choice works
- Optional categories start disabled and are not activated before you choose.
- Accept all, reject optional and granular settings are available without blocking access to the website.
- Your choice expires after 180 days, when we ask again, or sooner if the policy version changes.
- You can reopen the Privacy Center from the fixed shield or the footer and withdraw consent at any time.
Browser controls and updates
You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may reset language or configurator preferences and will make the website ask for your privacy choice again.
If we add an analytics, advertising or other third-party technology, we will update this inventory and keep it blocked until the relevant permission is present.
